I’m a software engineer and Bitcoin/Lightning developer with over 3 years of experience working on open-source and enterprise-level Bitcoin/Lightning projects. As a 2022 Btrust Builders (formerly Qala) fellow and an award-winning CreaTech entrepreneur, I’m passionate about leveraging Bitcoin to unlock new monetization opportunities for African creators. I believe that Bitcoin has the potential to reshape how creators on the continent can engage with global markets and benefit from their content.
Lead Contributor to Vyouz: I’m the lead contributor to Vyouz, an open-source Bitcoin-powered ads distribution platform that leverages AI and Bitcoin to enable African creators and publishers to monetize their online presence through niche-based marketing. This project is aimed at creating sustainable revenue streams for African creators by connecting them with the right audiences. Open-Source Contributions: I’m an active contributor to several open-source Bitcoin projects, including Galoy and Alby. Working on these projects has allowed me to deepen my understanding of Bitcoin and contribute to tools that are expanding the use of Bitcoin in everyday transactions. Technical Writer: In addition to my development work, I write technical content for platforms like CoinMonks and WhatIsBitcoin.com. Through my writing, I aim to simplify Bitcoin and Lightning concepts for a broader audience and help more people understand the technology’s potential.
