I’ve been a software engineer since 2018, with a strong focus on backend development. I specialize in building and optimizing APIs using Node.js and Java and have experience working on real-time applications with WebSockets and optimizing database queries. While backend systems are my core expertise, I occasionally work on user interfaces using React and Next.js, allowing me to bring a full-stack approach to my projects. Through the Btrust Builders fellowship, I expanded my skill set by learning Golang, which enabled me to contribute to the btcd project, a Bitcoin node implementation in Golang. I am also diving into Rust to further enhance my ability to contribute to Bitcoin open-source projects.
During my time in the fellowship, I actively contributed to the Bitcoin and Lightning ecosystem through technical writing and open-source development. I authored several technical articles aimed at simplifying complex Bitcoin concepts for a wider audience. In the open-source space, I made significant contributions to btcd, an alternative Bitcoin node implementation written in Golang, where I opened and reviewed multiple pull requests, including PR #2135, PR #2168, and PR #2167. These contributions reflect my commitment to advancing Bitcoin’s infrastructure and my ongoing journey to deepen my impact within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
