I’m a passionate Bitcoin developer with a deep interest in the intersection of technology and finance. Initially, I was skeptical about digital currencies, but my perspective changed as I witnessed the ongoing advancements in Bitcoin. After participating in study sessions with Qala, I gained a deeper understanding of Bitcoin's intricacies, which fueled my desire to contribute to its development. As a Bitcoin user-turned-developer, I’m excited about the endless possibilities and innovations Bitcoin offers. What drives me is the fact that, despite its massive potential, only a few pioneers are actively working on developing Bitcoin. My goal is to contribute to the sustainability and evolution of this technology.
During my time at Qala, I deepened my understanding of Bitcoin’s foundational principles and honed my programming skills tailored specifically for Bitcoin development. The supportive and collaborative environment at Qala played a huge role in fostering my growth. I also participated in the Build for Africa Hackathon, where I showcased my passion for building Bitcoin-based solutions for the African market, focusing on how Bitcoin can drive financial inclusion. Following that, I co-founded Mavapay, a platform designed to leverage Bitcoin technology to provide innovative financial solutions, with a strong emphasis on ease of use and accessibility. Currently, I work at Chaincode Labs, where I’m involved in various projects that aim to further the development and adoption of Bitcoin, including my contributions to the Bitcoin Dev Project.
